Danitra is a self-taught artist, author, and illustrator with a heart full of whimsy and a mission to spread self-love, creativity, and joy. Based in Seattle, WA, she has spent years inspiring young minds through her enchanting characters, vibrant storytelling, and interactive art experiences.
As the mastermind behind Purrdie Burrdie I Love Myself, Can You See?, Danitra weaves together color, imagination, and self-empowerment, reminding kids (and adults!) that they are wonderfully unique. Whether she’s hosting magical tea parties as Purrdie Burrdie, leading art journaling sessions, or crafting new ways to make learning fun, she believes in the power of Love, Learn, Play, Create.
